Manifesto Pzerodigit

Once upon a time, art was a lit fire, a path of lava stones that led to the beauty. It was Michelangelo who carved his statues from stone, or Van Gogh who he painted his sunflowers on the fields of France. It was Monet catching the light on his canvas, or Picasso who messed up the shapes to show us the new world.

But then art evolved, like a river changing its course. She was free irreverent, experimental. It has become Kandinsky's abstract art and conceptual art ofKosuth, who questioned the very ideas we had about it. Mutation after mutation, change after change, the art has continued to evolve, to change its forms and to modify the means and tools that over the centuries they had generated it, making it reborn in ever new and unedited clothes.

Thanks to the advent of technology and its slow creep into each of the areas of our way of life, today we can claim to have known a new type of art: that digital, researched, created and conceived between impalpable bits and luminescent screens, which
finds its origins in the invention of the computer, in the discovery of technology, in the possibility of using light and color to create works of art that exist only in the cyberspace.

From these premises was born the group of young artists PZeroDigit, who manages to make digital painting its center of gravity. As if it were a casket of poetics and creative ideas different, PZeroDigit aims to become, for the artists who are part of it, the basis from which to start to create works that are capable of being containers of thoughts always different, born from the freedom - inherent in the very nature of this group - to explore your creativity naturally.

All the works created digitally by PZeroDigit challenge conventions and open the doors to a world of shapes and colors never seen before. Generated by processing on support digital, the works are subsequently realized with technologies and methods at the forefront.

Precisely in the action of printing the works on a physical medium and donating them one tactile and visual reworking different from the one that generated them, hides one of principles of PZeroDigit's work: as in a virtuous circle, experiential corporality human enters the virtual and comes out of it to give life to something that, once again, he is reborn in a state of pure materiality.

To steal the words from the mouth of a well-known philosopher, we are faced with an eternal return, which manages to reveal an inherent and hidden need in man.

From this hybrid experience between digital and physical, the work cannot emerge unscathed. As we were faced with the visual statement of the Dirac equation, the two systems that have had the opportunity to interact with each other, virtual and physical, cannot can no longer be described as two distinct and separate worlds, but instead become one indistinguishable ontology.

Digital painting can certainly help give life to a process of democratization of art, which can also be implemented through the creation and conception of laboratories within schools, where knowledge and art are released. There technology, in fact, allows anyone to create works of value and this method of making art, inclusive and open to all, does not discriminate by age or social status, since everyone can create and express their personality.

The sensitivity that is acquired with respect to the images, in fact, allows you to enhance the creative thinking and to develop communication skills characterized by a greater emotionality, indispensable in today's communication society. Art, only at this point, manages to become a driving collective experience and the school is thus transformed into a place of sharing, where differences are resources, and the creativity a value to be cultivated. And so, between screens and colours, between digital images and virtual brushstrokes, students are transformed into artists who look to the future with greater awareness of one's own personality and potential.
